O ye who believe! Do not squander one another\u2019s wealth in vanities, but let there be amongst you traffic and trade by mutual good will. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was asked what type of earning was best, and he replied: \u201d A man\u2019s work with his hands and every (lawful) business transaction.\u201d The Prophet also said: \u201cA truthful and trustworthy merchant is associated with the prophets.\u201c<\/span><\/strong><\/span> The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: \u201c\u201cIt is better for any of you to carry a load of firewood on his own back than to beg from someone else .\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span> And also: \u201cThere was a merchant who would lend to the people, and whenever his debtor was in difficult circumstances, he would say to his employees, \u2018Forgive him so that God may forgive us.\u2019 So, God forgave him.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span> A Muslim who plants a tree or sows a field, from which man, birds and animals can eat, is committing an act of charity.
